100% Silk Scarf hand painted naturally with Chlorophyllin and Sorghum.

Chlorophyllin is a copper compound made with chlorophyll, which is a green pigment extracted from alfalfa or stinging nettles, but may also  be extracted from other green plants. It can produce a beautiful range of greens, from forest greens to sea greens.

Sorghum is an ancient grain from the grass family native to Africa. Sorghum extract produces dark and light mauves, or rusty shades.

Natural dyeing is a much more sustainable alternative than conventional synthetic dyeing, helping keep our waters free from nasty chemicals!
