“The Sense of the Void” is an experimental collection designed to express complex emotions through clothing and the body. It seeks to discover what is inside us, to reveal why we feel what we feel, To demonstrate how emotions intertwine and resonate in our body position, our movements and our relationships with others. In each look, there are different people, who together create the final emotion" - Maria Robres

I worked with closely with Maria on this project over the course of 7 months. She communicated her design ideas and desires with me until we came up with a solution together. I dyed the fabric naturally using different plants and wood.
