Chlorophyllin is a copper compound made with chlorophyll, which is a green pigment extracted from alfalfa or stinging nettles, but may also  come from other plants. It can produce a beautiful range of greens, from forest greens to sea greens.
 
Natural dyeing is a much more sustainable alternative than conventional synthetic dyeing, helping keep our waters free from nasty chemicals!
